I've seen ads for it non-stop when I watch Supernatural and stuff. It looked like a normal teen drama, but now they're advertising the mid-season finale and there's something about some zombie outbreak and society breaking down and they have guns and shit?

Like is this show crazy or wtf.

It's an edgier take on Archie comics. The same comics gave us Archie vs Predator. It's supposed to be pretty silly.

Yeah I didn't know much about the Archie comics at all going into this but I do remember the characters and it's funny seeing this serious take on what was originally these dorky people (from what I remember).

Its not a serious take though. They go out of their way to make the show as ridiculous as possible. The first 2 seasons were dumb, but season 3 is just complete nonsense lol. Its very entertaining

It revels in its camp, and basically plays up all the tropes of teen dramas to 11. It's never meant to be serious, and it's pretty awesome because of that. I was wary of it at first because I tend to hate CW teen dramas, but I love it.

yeah I've watched the gambit of teen dramas and this ranks at the higher end of the spectrum. The acting isn't terrible, it's well paced, there's plenty of stuff going on.

Just saw the funeral episode
Now watching the talent show episode and the soundtrack is amazing and like every scene there's something fucking ridiculous that's revealed and I can't believe how shitty half the town is (at least the parents).
