Jay Briscoe - Just speculating here, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go back to this well. Don't have a good feel for how it'd go. The Briscoes are probably my all time favorite tag team, but they may be approaching the twilight of their career too.

I think Main Event confederate flag waving Jay Briscoe in 2018 would be a remarkably bad idea.

I also think it cant be overstated how damaging that Iron Man was.

Like Seth's entire argument for being top guy was that he is truly capable of going and main eventing compelling feature matches as a baby face.

And granted that Ziggler was likely not the ideal opponent and that the booking had issues my personal theory is that in wrestling you can go out and look like such a geek in any given moment that it comes to define you.

Between the Ziggler match and last night I think Seth may have that midcard stink on him for good.
