"Eye surgeons use a very thin laser to cut a partial circle into the front of the cornea, large enough that they can fold back that flap to get to the part of the cornea underneath, which needs to be reshaped in order to correct faulty vision. Plus, the cornea is densely packed with nerves, making it one of the most sensitive tissues in the whole human body. Even when done carefully, laser eye surgery cuts through these. I doubt they're made up. I wouldn't take the risk personally. I have to wear glasses now, the same as before the surgery. It was great for awhile but not worth it for something that was temporary. It has always been on the cards to look at operations that don't involve cutting the eye and research on the latest technologies.
