Like I visit family on Eve, but then I open presents on Christmas and we have dinner at our house with family too.

I remember going to school with a kid who would open all his presents at 0:01 on Christmas Day (ie, effectively Christmas Eve having not gone to bed yet. So wrong!).

When I had family, wed visit on Eve. Wed drink and be merry but wed open our gifts on Day. Thats really the only difference lol.

Is it considered celebrating both or is that a Day thing?

I have some friends in Italy and in Spain and they open presents Xmas eve then go to an early mass on Xmas day. That seems pretty cool.

As an American, my family opens presents on Xmas day followed by a nice dinner.

Christmas Eve for me. Mostly because my family isn't very religious, so we don't particularly care exactly which day. But my sister-in-law's family is extremely religious and they spend most of Christmas at church. So we celebrate on Christmas Eve, and then let them celebrate with the other side of the family on Christmas day.

Both..
Christmas Eve we open presents with our kids then go to my wife's side of the family.
Christmas morning we do stockings and a present from Santa, then we go over to my parent's house for an hour or so before leaving for my uncle's house.

Depends on the day of the week and off days. We might just do it on the 23rd if we have the next few days off.

I was wondering if any CEers would do a day early or late.
