Sometimes I feel like my face is super plain. Is wearing lensless glasses (is that the right term? Glasses that are purely aesthetic) still a hipster thing to do?

Wearing glasses without lenses was only hip among Japanese girls. It's a bad look. Anybody who watched NBA post game interviews some years ago will tell you the same.

Get your eyes checked. If your vision has been slowly getting worse you may not have even noticed it.

Well, you'd still get lenses, they just wouldn't have a prescription. Most people need reading glasses when they're old so you can look forward to that!

Try a hat. You may be surprised how good they feel especially when it's cool outside. Not a baseball cap though unless your playing, attending a game, or think keg stands are cool.

I've met a handful of people with near perfect vision who have gotten super-low prescription glasses and are willing to admit that they didn't actually need them. You could buy some anyway and play it off like that.

I've been wearing glasses almost my entire life and I often forget about the fact that there's lots of people in the world who wish they had imperfect eyes so they could wear glasses and I think that's interesting. It makes my near-blindness feel special kinda.

i wear contacts but on the off days that i choose to wear my glasses i get compliments..they're fun every now and then.
