The last time I played Druid on ladder, Savage Roar/Force of Nature was still a combo.

Yikes.

And the rogue deck I fiddle with right now is a tempo variant, but it's not the beatdown style everyone's running. More of a thief rogue. I do pretty well with it. Warrior's really the only bad match-up.

I'm playing this right now.

### Michelle, Tamika & Tanya

# 2x (0) Backstab
# 2x (0) Preparation
# 2x (0) Shadowstep
# 1x (1) Togwaggle's Scheme
# 1x (2) Bloodmage Thalnos
# 2x (2) EVIL Cable Rat
# 2x (2) Eviscerate

# 2x (6) Gadgetzan Auctioneer

I've only been able to pull off the Leeroy combo once, but it's still winning anyway. Every other game has just been lackey beatdown.

Ive gotten gold at everything

I think my most is Hunter but Warlock nearly caught up with it since I really like playing Zoo for some weird reason

Oh, I don't have any gold heroes yet. Not even close. Priest is my highest at 299, Rogue is my lowest at 70.

I have like two golden heroes I think.

Shaman, which makes a lot of sense. Enjoyed the class since launch. Played a decent amount during the shamanstone era (post-nerf at least; I wasn't into the hyper aggro face version, but I was totally into the slower inspire version with Thunder Bluff Valiant). Didn't have a golden portrait from this, but it probably got me half way there.

But then Witchwood came out and I...immediately started innovating with Even Shaman in wild. There were no netdecks for it at the time, I think I might have been legit one of the first innovators, so I had like...Nerubian Eggs and Haunted creepers with Dire Wolf Alphas and Flametongue totems to activate them. Obviously pretty different than the list people ended up with, but was still a good enough deck to climb to like rank 3 or something.

Simultaneously, I didn't have a standard deck, heard Shudderwock Shaman was a really high skill deck, started watching streamers to get a feel of the deck, put together a version and...lost for about 10 games before I fully got my head around it, then took that deck to legend cause I had a lucky streak and had not hit legend before.

So...all of those together got me one class to 500 wins early last year. (Currently at 766 on Shaman)

Towards the end of last year I also got hunter to 500 wins. I don't think I actually had a single meta Hunter deck during that time, but like...I did really enjoy Deathstalker Rexxar, and kept homebrewing decks to put him in right from the launch of TFT. My hunter decks were all memes, and most of them ran Primordial Drake and The Lich King, but they were memes that could still get wins in the rank 5-3 range. Currently at 523 on Hunter.

Pretty close on Warlock (488)--makes sense, there's often a zoo deck, and while it's usually not my favourite deck, I usually have it built. Also been playing a lot of Even Warlock in wild lately.

Pretty close on Paladin (467)--I played a decent amount of Secret Paladin back in the day, and still have the deck around so that even if I don't have a standard Paladin deck I can complete quests in wild. Also messed around with Kagnor's Endless Army a bunch last year, and seem to have a fetish for Even decks cause I played a bunch of Even Paladin too.

Surprisingly not that close on Mage (377) and Druid (351). Certainly classes I've played since beta and where I keep around 1-2 wild decks at all times. I've even played a bunch of wild Even Mage lately.

Closer than I thought on Rogue (423). I actually don't even know where those Rogue wins are coming from. I guess I had a huge thing for Unearthed Raptor, to the point that the first Wild deck I ever built was a homebrew Unearthed Raptor Nerubian Egg deck which I literally still haven't deleted, but like...I actually can't think of a time where I played a Rogue meta deck for more than a few games here and there. I suppose super early in the game I...correctly identified Rogue as having a really strong hero power, and absolutely loved shadowstepping Defias Ringleader so there's that. I remember doing that when Patron Warrior was a thing, and it fucking sucked cause you couldn't play 2 attack minions in that meta or you literally gifted them free patrons. I also remember trying to make mech Rogue a thing. And I built Dane Rogue in Wild (The Kobold Illusionist Silver Vanguard Kel'Thuzad deck). OK, I guess I've played a lot of bad Rogue decks.

Priest is at 171. Yeahhhh...I did not have Anduin, or Psychic Scream, and being F2P kept on being wishy washy about crafting them (literally could not try out the decks they were in cause they're so core). Also never opened Kazakus. Guess what format also requires all or most of those cards to play Priest? Wild! But hey, I did have an Even Priest deck for a hot minute, so there's that.

Warrior 130. Literally never open Warrior cards. Fucking 0 shield slams and 1 brawl after 5 years. Still no Grommash. (Also no Boom). F2P life.

Only Golden I have is Priest and it's up in the 900's. A good chunk of others are pretty close, though.
Mage should be next at 470.
Warlock, Hunter, Paladin, and Rogue are all between 350 and 425.
Warrior and Druid not too far behind in the mid-200's.
Then poor Shaman at 128.

Mage is the second closest with 400 something. Everything else is under 200. If they included Arena wins earlier though I think Mage, Rogue, and Paladin might already be golden.

Ugh, secret paladin. Granted, knowing what I know now the deck wasn't too bad I guess.

Secret Paladin was just good at the time. The moment Mean Streets of Gadgetzan came out it just got powercreeped out of existance.

I know, cause I tried playing secret paladin in wild after MSoG came out, and lost to stuff that wasn't even meta in standard at the time like handbuff paladin.

Secret Paladin's whole thing was that you got to play Dr Boom, Tirion which is like a second Dr Boom, and then Mysterious Challenger which were like two more Dr Booms. That's like four Dr Booms in one deck (!!!) So much lategame (!!!)

And then Jades came out and were like "hey what if we let players have an unlimited number of 7/7s?" And Secret Paladin was like "WTF, I only have four of those :( :( :("

Nice!

I really want to build a control shudderwock deck, I'm just missing a lot of cards and can't justify crafting them when I'm still planning to open a bunch of packs when the adventure comes out.

I do love the fact that 7 mana giggling inventor found a home.

I'm surprised you're running zero taunts outside of zilliax/giggling though (no Omega Defender for 16 attack Wock)?

I ran omega in my early lists but I found a lot of times I just dont need it or it doesn't really mean anything. The list used to be more greedy and ran other packages (tried the dragon package for a little bit) but found that that was a little too much in terms of cards needed for it to work.

The list doesn't really need a ton of taunts either, against aggro you just survive on board clears, stuff from haunted visions, and early game minions. After that I would stabilize with fountain. Like you basically mulligan for scheme in almost every matchup (against warrior you should try to get hagatha).

Besides like mechathun (which basically automatically beats it) the hard matchups are mage, nomi priest, and big shaman to an extent. I'd say rogue is a toss up.

I know a lot of lists run the spirit of the frog spell list but I'm not the biggest fan of that and I dont like lists that play weapons because ooze is so popular.

I've also considered cutting elysiana but control warrior is still common and I cant win(or tie) without her. So taking her out is basically moving a 50% matchup to like a 10%.

A single card today completely ruined the win condition of my deck and then immediately replaced it with a brand new one. I was playing Leeroy Rogue deck against a Control Warrior, when they dropped Unseen Saboteur. Out of the six or seven spells in my hand the only one I needed it not to hit was Togwaggle's Scheme as the deck doesn't have a finisher without it. So, of course, that's the card it hits. I was upset for about a full three seconds, before Togwaggles Scheme targeted Togwaggle himself, adding ten copies of it into my deck.

The best part was I'd already played Leeroy->Shadowstep twice to try and keep the Warrior within range of the combo to begin with, and I was pretty much out of gas. He was almost assuredly going to be out of range of the combo by the time I was able to successfully pull it off, Saboteur hitting Scheme was likely the only way I was ever going to win that game from there.

I'm not sure how to feel about the single player content after seeing it. The style of the recent solo content has been great with the Rogue-like aspects, but from what we've seen so far of this one it's essentially 5 different versions of the exact same thing. Assuming the final two chapters don't deviate, it's literally 5 different Dungeon Runs with minor changes, which sure, could be fun, but also incredibly repetitive.

Also this is a me issue, but as someone who has every card I want from the set and a whole bunch of dust, the allure of packs as rewards for each chapter just doesn't do it for me. I would have much preferred the old adventure style of new cards.

I understand why they don't, but if they would've released the free wing on week one and the other four over the resulting four weeks I would have been completely happy with it. I'm not sure how heroic mode is going to work in the roguelike environment, but that along with anomaly mode and 15packs/goldenpack/goldenlegendary/whatevercardbacks for rewards is enough content for me if the timing wasn't so late.

An interesting stat:

Since I've downloaded deck tracker, I've played 1589 games of constructed with a 907-682 record.

Total amount of those games played as:

Shaman: 0
Rogue: 4 (0-4)

Sums up my feelings about those classes. Funnily enough, I have 257 ranked wins with Shaman, which just shows how much of it I played before deck tracker when it was the dominant class after League of Explorers. I didn't actually start playing seriously until that adventure came out, when I invested some cash and bought that and Blackrock Mountain.

Which is great, since my deck has nearly no power to it. Cleared Heroic 1st wing as mage on my third/fourth try, I think? My passive treasures were just +1 mana and +2 cards, but I got a decent spread of minions and I had Yogg against Final boss Gallywix to put the game out of reach.

I think the taverns are really nice for fixing a deck, and overall the mode was better than I had expected.

I also pulled Blastmaster Boom from the 3 reward packs, though Im still short a bunch of epics that I need for bomb warrior.

I went down to the sixth boss three times so far in Heroic. My best run I was able to get the sixth boss to 1HP but couldn't finish him off, his hero power gave his entire hand +1/+1 and he put out 7/7 and 8/8 Doppelgangsters on consecutive turns. Wasn't able to come back from that.

Finished Heroic on the fourth attempt, my treasures and tavern spending made my early game so ridiculous that it didn't matter that the majority of my deck was garbage.

Got the Grim Patron that costs three mana and copies itself at the end of the turn, but it was a 4/4 because of the Captured Flag treasure. Then in the tavern I paid to make it start in my hand as well as adding three copies of it to my deck. My second treasure was the one that makes the left most card in your hand cost two less.

So every single game, I played a 4/4 on turn one that summoned copies of itself at the end of the turn. The rest of the run was beyond easy. The one boss who actually cleared my board immediately faced down a second wave as I'd already drawn two more of them.

On my heroic runs when i get deep into it i always run into the druid boss and just lose to it. IMO that one and the silence one are probably two of the ones that you basically instantly lose to unless you have direct counters for them.

What does Tesspionage Rogue...beat exactly?

Like...pretty sure it loses to Tempo Rogue. Pretty sure it loses to giants mage. And pretty sure it loses to Warrior (control warrior is probably a decent matchup, but still, if they have boom on 7 and generate a few Omega Devastators, I don't think it matters how many 1 cost cards you draw).
