^ and both Boston wins were dominant, and both St. Louis wins required tremendous smothering and an overwhelming number of shots on Rask. Just feels like the Blues are scraping by.

I would really like to see them win game 5 so they could win the cup on home ice. Here's a sad stat, just checked wikipedia to confirm: the last team to win the cup on their home ice was Chicago in 2015. Penguins in San Jose, Penguins in Nashville, Caps in Vegas. So would like the Blues to reverse the trend.

if only Chara and Grzelcyk could both miss game 5...

St. Louis has been better in 5 on 5 hockey. Special teams have just been so incredibly lopsided in this series. Boston has 6 power play goals and a shorthanded goal, compared to St. Louis's 1 power play goal, I believe? The Blues are probably hoping for the refs to turn in one of those playoff games where they call one penalty all game despite both teams trying to murder each other.

If he has a strong Game 6 too, could recency bias come into play for him & the Conn Smythe? I mean, he has been relatively average most of the playoffs, but who would get it otherwise? O'Reilly?

If the Bruins win it'll be Rask for sure...

Recency bias robbed Corey Crawford of a Conn Smythe in 2013, so it's possible if Binnington throws a shutout to win the cup. I think O'Reilly might end up taking it based off of these last few games.

If the Blues win, Binnington will almost certainly win it. "Winning goalie wins Conn Smythe" is pretty much the default when no particular forward has done anything to distinguish themselves among all the others. O'Reilly has been good the last few games, but playoffs overall, hasn't been particularly better than Tarasenko...
