From what I hear DSP is actually talking about how great he is in comparison to ProJared now out of pettiness for one tweet ProJared made about him three years ago.

While ProJared is an abhorrent creature, DSP has to live with the fact that he's DSP every day, and that is a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Sure DSP is not as bad as ProJared as it appears right now.

i don't think projared has a distinguished enough career to have a "hardcore" fanbase like jontron

the dude's videos were so unremarkable, even though he was in the game for a while and had a million subscribers I think he just coasted with average videos about video games while crossing over with more popular youtubers he somehow befriended

Yeah, like. I watch a decent amount of video game related youtubers and I've seen his name come up a lot but I only watched like one of his videos and I don't even remember what it was about. It was that unremarkable. He didn't offer anything different that loads of other youtubers already did and were much better at.

Well, there was that one time where he had some sort of beef with this one cosplayer on his tumblr ages ago though. I don't even know what that was about.

But man, his subreddit. It's rare that you see an entire group of people turn against a e-celeb like that so quickly. I have yet to see anyone defend ProJared. I've seen a few Holly defenders here and there, but even the general consensus is that she's trash too.

Clemps: probably one of the more genuinely funny ones. However, he really seems to only cover games I've never played.

KingK: really thorough analyses, almost to a fault. If you aren't put off by his voice and by him obviously being on the spectrum, he's pretty great.

Resonant Arc: really wonderful nostalgia porn if you're into jrpgs. However, it's extraordinarily pretentious to the point I had to unsub

according to jared, she's the one who wanted an open marriage in the first place and she's the one who pushed the idea of him being with other women while she was with other men.

heidi says she changed her mind on the open marriage at some point before things continued but the specifics remain unknown. at the very least it's clear enough that their marriage was going to shit, they both at some point agreed to see other people, and none of that was in the initial stuff heidi said. so now people wonder what she knew beforehand. the stuff about minors and whatever is still the biggest issue realistically, though some believe that she knew about all that stuff too. if so neither are really that innocent in this and it's just a bad marriage breakup with roots in wanting to date other people while being married.

I listened to Pat the NES Punk talk about Jared on his podcast last week

Basically he said hes known Jared since Jared was a low level ScrewAttack employee, and ever since hes always seen him as a guy who would just use people for as long as they were useful to him and then just discard them from his life.

He, Jared, and Brentalfloss at one point were starting a project where they would riff on video game cutscenes MST3K style, they all agreed to commit to it for 6 months and each contribute a third of the cost, and then soon after Jared just bailed on the project early and never paid his share

Heres a thread from Holly with some alleged receipts of Heidi being manipulative and abusive to Jared

Like, in those texts Holly is showing, she claims that she did absolutely nothing, but it's got Jared saying he'll "talk to her" and things have "gone on far longer than they should have." What would he need to talk to her about/what has gone on longer than it should have if they weren't doing anything together?

And sure enough, the drama continues with Heidi posting apparent receipts of Holly admitting that she made up the abuser stuff and crossed boundaries they knew existed.

So apparently the details from between the two are that things were open, Heidi ended up not liking what Jared/Holly were doing and asked them to stop, Jared said they would, and then either didn't tell Holly or both just said screw it and did it anyway.

Between the convos Heidi posted and Jared seeming to admit he did something wrong in the ones Holly posted, Heidi's story still seems closer to the truth than Holly's "I did nothing and she attacked us both."

EDIT: Also Holly kinda just admitted she cheated on her own husband via her own receipts despite trying to call out people that called her a cheater. Yikes.

Heidi posted one where Holly more or less indirectly admits she/Jared were banging while knowing Heidi didn't want them to, so they all just kinda sound like trashy people.

That said, the cheating/relationship drama doesn't even matter. The grossest thing is the whole sending pics to minors stuff and the fact Holly just handwaves it is pretty disgusting, so even if Heidi's insane it still doesn't make her a good person.
