This E3 and the news about the FF7 remake has already caused a massive resurgence of Tifa fanart, and I'm hoping that the announcement of the SD3 remake causes a similar resurgence of fanart for the girls from that game too.
The nightly cleanup process archives or deletes older topics from boards every night between 3:00am and 5:00am Pacific Time. With a few exceptions, topics on non-social message boards are archived indefinitely, and social board posts are permanently deleted.
Since February 2019, non-stickied topics are cleaned up based on the order of the last post made in a topic, newest to oldest:
Topics 751-1000: 2 Days Topics 1001+: Always archived/deleted
So essentially, at the rate CE posts these days, we just have to make sure the topic is within the first 20 pages of the board (assuming you're not some kind of primitive neanderthal using a setting other than 50 topics per page) at the time of the purge. If the last post was on the previous day or the night before that, then it should be safe. If it was two whole days before, then it should be bumped. ---
