All the other mages are playing around like babies on the chemical level with the four states of matter.

But then one day the nuclear mage shows up at the academy and puts all the pretentious wizards in their place.

But his spotlight doesn't last long. He quickly becomes humbled when a space-time mage comes from the future and introduces him to his partner, the antimatter mage.

Have you ever heard of the Persona series TC? Nuclear is it's own element in P5 (and the earlier ones).

It was. But every mage who knew how to use it died of cancer. It was then forgotten.

I bet Nicolas Flamel was a nuclear mage.

Think about it. He needed the power of fusion to turn lead into gold.

He didn't fake his death at all. The immortality stuff was a load of BS.

But he took his secrets with him. So now the world think's his alchemy was primitive chemistry.
