You get stung by a jellyfish, not knowing what they are, you learn a lesson. You fuck with a scorpion, you instinctively know whats coming to you. Theres no lying in scorpions. Theyre covered in armor and weapons. Their tail is literally a goddamn spear. You could go your whole life without ever knowing they existed, see one, and immediately know not to fuck with that animal. If you asked a child to draw a monster, I guarantee a large number of them would have claws and a stabby tail or two of some description. It was pretty chill but it fucked me over a couple times bringing girls over. Maybe keeping it on my end table next to my bed wasn't the best idea. I fed it crickets among other things.
