4-3 is indeed the worst case in the series.

4-4 is really difficult for me to settle my feelings on because half of it is pretty good and half of it is kinda bad.

Is the defendant in 4-2 going to go down as the worst of the series?

Because I started thinking about "Space Mexico" all of a sudden..

Apollo has the 2 worst defendants in the entire series in his game. Which makes it really hard to ever wholeheartedly root for the protagonist.

Welcome to the primary reason the cases suck.

And I actually enjoyed 6-4 more than I should have. But Bucky might be even worse than Wocky or Machi.

Nah, Bucky isn't until SoJ. The defendant in 4-3 isn't great though, although you can do a little head canon to make him a little more interesting.

There is one thing of credit I am going to give here:

Trucy is actually useful. While I do admire Maya's inner strength, she is... Completely useless outside of a single case without her cousin or her sister to bail her out in some way.

Though.. Trucy did more the first day of the trial than Apollo did, and he's supposed to be the Lawyer...

Trucy is a fantastic assistant. Sometimes too fantastic though because, as you said, sometimes she seems even smarter than Apollo.

The Mr. Hat thing on trial day 1 is way worse than any Deus Ex Mia though.

There's a part where Apollo is just sitting there like an idiot and she's railing over several contradictions in a row completely on her own while he goes "...Huh?". Gotta Lawyer better than that, Apollo.

Well, there are benefits to your dad being Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix was pretty dumb at times as a rookie, too, for what it's worth. It just didn't seem as noticeable because he had an actual lawyer for a mentor to bail him out.

4-2 wasn't... Too bad.

Klavier was super passive (and... helpful) for a prosecutor, Wocky was awful, and the twist was really easy to see coming, but... It avoids the bottom tier, certainly.

Klavier has amazing animations. That's about the best thing I can say about him.
