What do you think of it so far up to this Thursday's episode?

I don't want to pay for another subscription plan, so I've only seen the first episode, which was free on YouTube.

Yeah, this is the most fucked up part about it. I got a free month trial and was able to catch about 8 episodes through it so far.

The show itself is pretty preachy on some of the issues we face today, but overall it's pretty fun especially because it's Jordan fucking Peele and it was always like this since Sterling was also speaking on those times with society. Also it's pretty fucking hype everytime Peele does the Rod Sterling monologue in the prologue.

It's awfully on the nose with all of it's themes... as in, trying too hard to make social justice statements and then pulling the rug out from under itself at the end of the episode.

The last one, which I thought was the best so far was good up until the point that they revealed "oh this toxic masculinity exists in all men and they just need to buck up and control themselves". They could've taken a cool angle with the tainted water from the meteors... but then it just turns out, no, it was just 'boys being boys'. And then they ended the episode with a guy looking at a girl's photo on her license and literally saying "you could be so much prettier if you just smiled more" and she's all "NO". like wtf haha

LMAO. Yeah. That's kind of the problem with these episodes. The ending of "Not All Men" was all kinds of wtf.

The next episode after that was about ICE detention. Some rich white lady's maid is an illegal and she's arrested and the next day the rich white lady also ends up being arrested and taken to a detention center.

The twist here? The white lady is also an illegal. From another dimension lol. This dimension's planet was destroyed because of nukes, so some people escaped and found refuge here. The ending was pretty pointless. She just stayed in detention after making an escape attempt. Even her husband disowned her.
