That's... Pointless. I actually think Bran is the best possible choice to be a king though. He used to be a good person and he still remembers it even though he doesn't feel now. He knows literally everything that has ever happened so he can make the most informed decisions anyone has ever made. He can know anyone utterly and judge them with absolute fairness. He can figure out what people want and need. He has absolute advantage when it comes to war and subterfuge. It's almost too overpowered. Dany's sudden flip is justified after losing her crew and home girl, her newly appointed title was extremely short lived .. and yeah, no consequence to her ~~death~~ and the melting of the throne was weird Jon went ~~North~~ that's fine and expected, Arya went on an adventure, expected, Sansa got to.. well.. continue on doing whatever she's been doing since season 1.. Tyrion gave a few more fantastic speeches.. I don't mind the fantasy setting when it comes to games (or books, in theory - I don't read much fiction), but I have a hard time enjoying it in TV or movie form. I just find it hokey, like if the X-Men wore the overly cartoonish suits in live action stuff. Everything that happened was okay story wise, it was just so smashed together that nothing felt important anymore. They really dropped the ball on the last season. Like really badly. I actually really liked the white walker episode, but to end one of the two main storylines that quickly was just ridiculous. I have zero issues with what happened story wise, but it is completely different than literally every other episode of the show. Even the previous half season had way better storytelling. It was a scene that should have been sad and highlighted Sandor's self destructiveness, but also tried to be badass. People talk about Jaime's character assassination a lot, but on some level I feel the same about Sandor (though not to the same extent). He had no reason to be there and should have grown past that. I don't take a huge issue with it though. Narratively it was definitely something that needed to happen, otherwise Sandor would feel like he lacks closure and Gregor would feel like a wasted villain (coughNight Kingcough).
