3DW's super amazing in 2 player co-op. Had a ton of fun with it. Actually works here, unlike in the NSMB games.

I was able to play Splatoon 1 in its prime, Splatfests included. Wii U has a spot in my heart for that alone.

At the same time, if I knew how many Wii U ports were going to be quickly shoved onto the Switch, I definitely would have just passed on the Wii U and waited. Especially since the Switch versions are significantly enhanced in many cases. Mario Kart 8 and Pokken, anyone?

But hindsight is 20/20, and hey. OG Splatfests!

They also haven't brought some pretty good stages over to Splatoon 2 like Saltspray Rig, Urchin Underpass, and Bluefin Depot (they finall did Arrowna Mall, which was my favorite stage in Splatoon 1)
