Finally my long journey to platinum all the mainline Yakuza games has come to an end. Original Yakuza 2 was a great game and this remake improved on it in every regard thanks to the power of the Dragon Engine. I was actually caught off guard how much content this game had because Yakuza 6 was kinda light on content and that was the last game I had played, but Kiwami 2 brought most of it back and ended up being a 70 hour experience for me. The Cabaret Club and the Majima Construction Clean Creator eat up a lot of that time though so maybe the core game was only in the 40-50 hour range to 100%. It was also really neat to get a follow up to the Majima stuff from Yakuza 0 even if that mode is super short (probably under an hour if you ignore side content).

The platinum of this game was basically as follows:

- Complete the story on Legend difficulty
- Complete the Majima Saga
- Obtain 100% Completion List (Coin Lockers, Substories, Minigames, Cabaret Club, Clan Creator, Bouncer missions, Haruka Requests, Colisuem, etc)
- Max out stats
- Learn all skills
- Possess over 10 million yen
- Take 10 pictures
- Defeat 100 enemies with weapons

So long Kiryu I enjoyed all your games and will truly miss you.

JK I know he's playable in the Fist of the North Star game I'll definitely see him again there. Plus we're not too far away from the english release of Judge Eyes either so I'll still get to enjoy new adventures in Kamurocho down the line.
