Has anyone here watched this new series? It's an extremely realistic depiction of the events and just might be the most horrifying & gut-wrenching show I've ever seen on television. Especially episode 3. Top-notch performances from the entire cast as well.

I think you'll like it a lot. I've seen a lot of Chernobyl docs and films over the years, and this show just might be the one that captures every aspect and angle of the event flawlessly.

Chernobyl has been totally engrossing and well paced from the onset. After I watched the first episode I knew I had to keep HBO to finish it.

I'm genuinely shocked at the reception this show has been getting considering the writer is actually kind of an idiot and whose most notable work has been the Scary Movie and Hangover sequels (not even the originals themselves!), but it's still next on my to-watch list.
