I know there is this trend where a lot of the backlight GBA SPs have been replaced with their weaker front light counterparts but are still being sold at super high prices on eBay.

I'm hoping I didn't get scammed. The screen looks good though but I cant tell its very amiguous. I bought this for $74 after tax

It looks legit to me. Point the top at your face, and if you can see all the light coming from the bottom of the screen, it's the old light.

Another way to tell if it's the old screen, press the light button. If it turns off completely and doesn't just dim, it's the old screen.
