How does it compared to the rest of the series?

I've played a good deal of it (never beat it) but it was disappointing on many levels. Considering it used to be sold for the price of a McChicken in bargain bins everywhere, I wouldn't buy it for $20. Hell, I got Suikoden IV last year for cheaper, lol.

For 20$? No, I'd completely game up until today. Cant a speak for the rest aside from suikoden 5. Which is of the few RPGs I quit for being complete and utter garbage along with golden sun 2.

If you only played 1-4, I would highly recommend that you look for 5. Not sure how expensive it is now though.
