Bars, malls, literally any place with people. You could also volunteer. If you're not working, get a job at a large company since you can meet a lot of people that way.

Not really relevant, since bars are also just a gathering place. I don't drink, but I still sometimes go to happy hours after work with co-workers.

Well, talking to them would be a good start...

I'm not used to it. I used to smile at my crush and say hi to her whenever she passed as I ate lunch, and she interpreted it only as a friendly gesture between fellow classmates.

But I'm much too shy to do that with other people. I mean, I cannot even bring myself to make eye contact with my supervisor when I say hi to her in the morning.

Pretty much what Zeus already mentioned. Since you already don't do bars or don't want to approach people out of the blue, your options are unfortunately limited.

- Volunteer for ****. You'll meet people there.
- Go to church whether or not you believe in it. People will be happy to converse with you there.
- Join some kind of class/activity whether it's dance, art, yoga, etc. You'll meet people there.

If you still say no to that then that's on you.

All in all it depends what interests you have. Most folk I've got to know have been through my brother but that's because I do things with him like walks, go to bars, watch wrestling and so on. In just about everything you do that involves going outside creates ways to meet people. I've however not tried online things like meetup or the like but that might help some folk. I know I used to find talking online a lot more easy then real life in my younger years. The trouble with that though is the relationships I made only ever stayed online. Meeting up just never materialised for one reason or another. Still it helped build confidence.

Considering they aren't in a retirement home right now, it's a pretty safe bet that they're not Nazis. More importantly, I'm not sure where you were going with your misquote but you're just doubling down on your horribleness. First, you accuse anybody who goes to comic shops of having a mental disorder. Now you're comparing them to possible-racists and calling them Nazis.

And for a guy who preaches tolerance, accusing people of having mental illnesses for having geeky interests pretty much undercuts your claims. Not to mention the fact that you're censor-byassing in the first place.

MICHALECOLE posted...

Pretty much everybody who wears a swastika isn't a Nazi at this point, considering that the Nazis stopped doing it around the time of the Nuremburg Trials. In fact, wearing a swastika might be the surest sign that a person isn't really or ever was a Nazi.

Thanks for taking a break from The_Donald to tell us why people who think swastika are Nazi related are the real problem.
