An Ohio County Library has CANCELLED it's introductory Drag Class for Teens because they got HUNDREDS of DEATH THREATS from the COMMUNITY after a Republican Senate Candidate began the movement to have it shut down citing "inappropiate content for underage children"

Library Director, George Needham announced that Drag 101 was benched that was scheduled on June 5th and said they received death threats and was concerned about the safety and staff and teen participants

Messages appeared to threaten the safety of their staff and patrons and the teens and caregivers who attended the event as it was set to be led by drag queen Selena T. West, a former Miss Gay Ohio America and was one of the 400 summer programs to be held in the coming months

She said she will still go ahead at an alternative location but conceded she was disappointed by the threats and backlash and said "Today, Homophobia and fear wins"

She was met with support by staff and it will now be held at Secret Identity Comics in Delaware for children between 12 and 17

She said "I want people to come to be able to express themselves and learn about drag. Drag is not scary. Drag is not sexual. Teens can learn about what seems like trivial things like hair, nails, makeup and clothing. Those are the building blocks of a Drag 101 class i teach"

Backlash to the event started with Republican Wench, Melissa Ackison who shared an "alarmist" video stating "Our children are under attack. Right here, in Ohio, our libraries are hosting summer reading programs with inappropriate content for underage children to get in touch with their sexuality. I'm a Christian, a mother of 4 and i've had enough. I want to stand with me and tell the radical left that we will not allow you to transform this great nation and completely destroy our family units"

Following the death threats, the side eyed b***** went on to say she doesn't agree with the threats but said she knows firsthand what it feels like their children are being brainwashed by the left to be someone they SHOULDN'T be and is protecting them from leftists

Croasdressing and that trans thing mentioned earlier are the things that can be a fetish. Drag is supposed to be entertainment.

Oh trust me I know what drag is. Crossdressing and trans is just as much of a fetish as drag is though. Meaning they aren't inherently sexual. They just are in the philosophical sense.

And sure everything in this topic could be a fetish for some. But literally everything can be a fetish for someone. That doesn't make it a fetish in-and-of-itself.

Basically I wouldn't call a class that teaches people how to put on makeup, sew, and lip sync in an attempt to entertain a crowd a fetish just because there are some people that like to dress up as drag queens and fuck. The same way I wouldn't treat a police-training seminar where they learn how to taze people and handcuff people safely as an intro-to-BDSM class. >_>
