Yes, in theory. The FPGA in the old SD2SNES is end of life and that's the real reason for the model revision. The new FPGA is more powerful and has more memory. There's nothing as of yet that makes it function better but that could change in the future. The better hardware opens the door for new possibilities.

The only perfect cart on the market that doesn't slowly poison your hardware with voltage mismatch issues that are endemic to every single other flash cart.
