She doesn't like talking to them, not even with her friends and talks about how much war and soldiers suck whenever it comes up.

One morning she rants after hearing the president on the news say that she is going to be spending more money on the military and contemplating sending forces into Yemen. Going on about how great soldiers are and how they should be honored and respected.

Your teenage daughter snaps and says "Oh come on. They are overpaid, get free undeserved education, commit more crime than the average citizten including obscene amount of rapes. There hasn't been a draft since Vietnam! Why are we supposed to respect and worship these guys!? I respect the hilariously underpaid cops, teachers, scientists, doctors, nurses. The one who fixes someone son's heart not put bullets in them. Real men and women not cowards who just want a gun. Don't believe me? Look at Iraq, Syira, Falkland Islands, Japan. The CIA literally sends agents in to destablize nations and then we invade them and are forced to pay for it.

We spend our tax dollars, billions of dollars to buy $2 screws at $16,000 for bloated military contracts to start wars just to make fat billionaires rich and kill people's kids. Then indoctinate the population to not only accept this but revere it and get mad at sane people who question it. It's like 1984 only stupider. Anyway, I know you don't wanna be late for work dad so I made breakfast for you. Bacon, eggs and beans with extra bacon."

I would tell her if she gets herself confused with being American again she can jolly well MOVE to America.

Well, it isn't like she's all that wrong. Though she is harder on the soldiers than she should be. The same indoctrination that causes people to revere them also causes people to want to become soldiers. A lot of them are victims of the industrial military complex.

The best way to respect soldiers is to not send them off to die in bullshit wars in the first place.

I would respect her opinions on the matter
