Hobgoblin. My second pick might be the Kingpin, although he plays villain to a lot of heroes. Since neither is on the list, it's a toss-up between Rhino, Mysterio, and.... either the Green Goblin or Scorpion.

Since I can only vote once, I'm going to vote for Mysterio since his appearances are generally the most fun (Spider-Man 64, Spiderman-Man 2 (ps2/gc), etc)

This. I always wondered how they could make him look in a movie making him look cheesy though.

This. I always wondered how they could make him look in a movie making him look cheesy though.

He's Eastern European nobility. Just have him show up wearing expensive suits and talking with a faint accent, for any scene where he's not literally hunting. For the hunter side, he's not really a primitive as much as he likes the thrill of the hunt (and the kill), so you can easily justify putting him mostly in black or brown (or camo) tactical gear in the modern era, and that's 90% of the job done right there. Like how you'd actually dress if you WERE hunting for big game in Africa these days.

It's worth noting that the movies use the Ultimate Marvel version of a lot of characters (at least partly) more than they do the original versions, and they could easily just make him look like Ultimate Kraven:

http://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Sergei_Kravinoff_(Earth-1610)

That being said, if you want the implied motif of animal skins to hearken back to the comic version, it wouldn't be that hard to give him some sort of leather jacket with lion fur collar or something similar, so you get the allusion without being too ridiculously over-the-top (and Spider-Man would almost certainly make fun of him for it anyway).

Though the way Marvel's been going lately, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they just used his daughter instead, and had her mention her father (and his philosophy, and his training her, and his eventual death) as part of her backstory. And she mostly just wears white-ish tactical gear with animal fur trim, which is pretty easy to work with.

On the topic of Kraven, I think a souped-up, multiverse traversing version of him would a cool villain for a Spiderverse sequel.

Wouldn't be that hard, tbh. They could tone down on the vest or have it be a patchwork of exotic animals he's killed.

Ohhhh, Kingpin *was* an option I overlooked. I would have voted for him instead of Mysterio (although the NFI Daredevil version was my favorite Kingpin).

And if it was simply a movie list, it'd be pretty incomplete. Sandman was one of the headline villains in Spidey 3 yet he's not here.

On the topic of Kraven, I think a souped-up, multiverse traversing version of him would a cool villain for a Spiderverse sequel.

Combine him with the concept of Morlun - he's an insane hunter who somehow discovered trans-dimensional technology, and uses it to hunt different Spider-Men across different dimensions, because he killed the Spider-Man of his original dimension, and it was the greatest hunt he'd ever experienced. In the aftermath he felt unfulfilled, as nothing else he hunted after ever felt as good, so like a heroin addict forever trying to chase the next high, he decided that the only challenge worthy of him was to track and hunt alternate universe versions of Spider-Man. To his delight, he realized that their individual differences actually made each hunt unique and interesting in its own way, allowing him to savor every kill just as much as the first.

That might be just a tad too dark for what is ostensibly a kids' movie, though.
