Apologies if this is the incorrect place to post this, but I believe that I have found the correct Board. I could of course be wrong though.

Anyway uhh... thought I'd retell the story of how I was nearly mugged earlier, for some reason. Not sure why, but I feel like I need to talk to people about it.

So basically, I was walking home. In order to get home on the route that I had chosen, or at least in the quickest time possible, I had to walk through an alleyway. I'd been in this alley before and it's usually empty, except for some mothers with their kids sometimes. Anyways, the alley was not empty this time, there was a man there, gray haired and moustached. He was standing about halfway through the alley, up against the wall, on his mobile phone. I walked passed him, and was near the end of the alley when I heard a lot of footsteps. I turned around, and saw the man running in my direction. I thought that he was going to exit the alley, so I darted to my left, so that he could get through easily. He was not going for the end of the alley though, he was going for me.
So, from behind me, he wraps his left arm around my throat tightly, choking me. He then told me to get out my wallet and hand him some money, saying that "some chap of my nature should have lots of money". Naturally, I would have shouted for help or something like that, but couldn't because he was choking me as stated earlier. So he held me there for around a minute and I thought I was goinf to fucking pass out when another man entered the alley from the enterance in front of me. The man who was trying to mug me let go, and ran off down in the other direction. The other man who was left asked me if I was alright, and told me to keep safe.

I'm still fucking shaking from this.

He had gray thinning hair and a gray moustache.
Was wearing jeans and a navy green coat.
Pale skin.
Face was dirty.
Some of his teeth were yellowing, others white.

Yeah it sucks. Got robbed at gunpoint when i was younger. You move on but you dont really move on.

Just dont let that person win over you. Don't let it make you be afraid in life is the biggest advice i can give you coming out of it.

One time while I was walking up a street that usually wasn't busy, two boys were coming in the opposite direction towards me. One asked if I had a dollar then kept walking while the other one stopped in front of me. That was when I realized they were flanking me.

I'm not sure why since no one was around, but the one behind me yelled something at the one in front of me and they just dashed away. Got the fuck up out of there and so did I. Spent the rest of the day shaken up by it.

Holy shit. Sorry you had to go through that TC.

I was once followed by a large group once at like 3 in the morning who even followed me down a very unused, uninhabited, and little known hidden path. One eventually ran up behind me thinking I couldnt hear him with my earbuds in but Id turned off my music as soon as they came down that specific path and pulled on ear bud part way out so I heard him coming. It ended ok but it was a scary experience for sure.
