I'm probably gonna resort to looking at a guide but the attribute point system is really making me sick to my stomach knowing you only have so many points

Someone pointed this feeling out when I was playing Fire Emblem and I think its called "being paralyzed"

I know you posted some build guides SHINE but they don't have enough information, doesn't say what abilities get earned at what points. Just the whys and the end results

and though nobody answered, and I'm not taking silence as an answer, I have a feeling the strongest weapons can potentially get locked out if you don't have enough of a certain stat

There aren't any locked weapons. You just won't be able to use weapon skills for a weapon type if you're not equipped with it.

I completely feel you man. I haven't even spent any points on Angelo yet because I just don't know what I wanna do and I don't wanna screw up.

If it makes you feel any better, you should get ~350 points by level 99 and if you really wanted to you could grind for seeds of skill to max out everybody (though it would be quite slow)!

so my girlfriend has been moving to another apartment and I've been helping her with that

so many god damn shoes

also theres been some shakedowns behind the scenes at Gamestop corporate so I've been busy with work too

While I don't consider Ovewatch a distraction from DQ (THAT much, its a 5-10 minute shooter match compared to having to commit to an RPG)

I sorta fell off of it for now, so thats not in the picture anymore either
