I still haven't played the third but this seems to be coming out rather fast. I don't mind the style of this entry but I hope Strife is playable in the 4th main entry(if they make one).

Unfortunately it looks like this would be the Strife game from what the trailer suggests.

Also, I think this being a smaller game is a direct result from the third game's low sales, so a 4th mainline game seems more and more unlikely.

Third game was a little rough at launch, not as polished as the first two games but it's had a few patches that have improved things overall. Still the weakest entry in the series, though.
