Cuz it was 23 years between Captain Marvel and Infinity War (and then another 5 years until Endgame), but she always looks the same age.

Did the blast from the Space Stone prevent her from aging? Cuz she must be, like...60 years old by now.

It's due to her being part-Kree and the Space Stone.

I just want to know what the hell she was doing for all those years. and why she never met Thanos in all that time. people tell me "space is big". yea but this is comics and she can travel fast. and she makes it her business to keep tabs on things. Imagine if this was DC, and Green Lantern Hal Jordan was a veteran Lantern of 20 years, and Darkseid had been wrecking shit in Hal's sector for years but then when the big Darkseid invasion movie happens, Hal acts like he's never even heard of Darkseid. it would be stupid as shit.

Carol would have seemed more important to me, and her movie would have fit better and told the truth in that it actually was important like they claimed it was.... if she had some history with Thanos. then everything would have made more sense and I would be more on board with her suddenly joining the Avengers. instead of just being a girl from space who says "last time you didn't have me", she'd be "that space hero who has fought Thanos many times and knows him well, and now she is here to prepare the Avengers for their toughest foe"

Yeah, Carol really had nothing to do with anything. It probably would've served her character better to have kept her until the next phase. Even in Endgame, she was barely an asset.

I'm fully convinced she was released when she was and pushed the way she was precisely to take advantage of Endgame because otherwise, they were afraid she'd have done far less well.

yea i have heard some rumors that originally she was going to be used later. like in some future phase. and we got her early cause someone at Marvel decided that they could use Endgame to hype her up
