This is why crossovers are a bad idea.

I get that the Turtles are teens and Batman is an adult. I get that Batman can never be second place -- even when going up against a comically overpowered character like Superman.

But still. Like, at least if there hadn't been a crossover, they could've stood on their own as great characters. Now it's settled for all time that they're second rate compared to Batman. Not second best, second rate. If somebody goes out and makes the best damn Ninja Turtles movie there ever was, they're still the guys who got their butts kicked by Batman despite a four-against-one advantage.

Heaven forbid Batman should ever lose a fight (sarcasm), but maybe it would've been worth it if he'd beaten the Turtles and then got taken down by Splinter. But, no. He has to win every fight all the time.

Fuck Batman.

I'm going to go watch Bane break Batman's back.

I guess that's fair then. Shredder is more often than not depicted as being able to outclass the Turtles on his own. But still. There are times when Leo steps up and manages to beat Shredder or at least make headway against him. I don't think there's gonna be a time when he perseveres and kicks Batman across the room.
