Most people say they would only bust someone if they are stealing something expensive like jewelry or a car...but if it's something cheap like food people would look the other way..or even offer to BUY it for them!! I voted the 2nd option but it would also depend on what kind of store we talking about exactly. If it were a local family owned business that I respected I may even get involved if it were a small thing. If it's just a typical supermarket or something then nah
