I have no horse in either of these matches; however, I still want to say a couple of things.

First off, sorry to ping you @UF8, but editing posts in match topics is specifically against the rules. I still counted your vote, since you may have missed the rule, and it was obvious you weren't trying to manipulate the results or anything of that nature. For the future, though, if you have something to comment on along with your vote, and you forget to do so in your voting post, please make another post about it.

Second, re. today's poll, I'm sad that so many of my favorite games in this bracket are wasted to greater or lesser extents. Doom is stuck against Super Meat Boy in Round 1, Terraria and Stardew Valley face each other in Round 2, Night in the Woods might lose to Rogue Legacy in Round 1, and we saw what happened to Minecraft already.

I've not played Transistor, but Hat was a rock-solid experience, (with a few pacing hiccups) so I'm confident in voting for it. Both games in match 2 are all-time favorites! Witness edges the vote for its inventive puzzle solutions, but credit is due to Yume Nikki for kickstarting the surreal exploration sub-genre. Would be happy with either of these.
