This person I followed casually reblogged a piece of CloudxAerith art I liked, so I went to the artist's page, which led me to this rabbit hole that ended up in a 'Clerith' hivemind that was touting that since dating Tifa was a choice unlike the story-event Aeirth date, dating Tifa was an 'unnatural' way to play the game and blah blah blah

anyway they were bragging about how tifa wasn't being focused on in the trailers because she wasn't important, and that the fact there was a screen of aerith not form yesterday's trailer meant that the extended conference trailer would be 'all about clerith.'

That trailer was 100% Cloud/Tifa.
