EscapeFromHell 06/14/19 2:50:32 PM #1:	For the past X amount of years (not sure how many,) I have been forcing myself to face any fears that I've had. Fear of flying, death, etc. I've put myself in a place where I had no choice but to deal with the fear, and as a result, I now have no fears. Don't get me wrong, I can still be startled, so jump scares in movies or sudden loud noises will sometimes get my blood pumping, but I don't have anything that I can point at and say, "Yeah, that scares the shit out of me." So, I ask you, CE, what are some things that a person could/should be afraid of? =not a bragging topic; I genuinely want to know about some fears that I may have never thought about. --- I believed my friends, years ago, when they told me "penis inspection day" was a real thing. That said, you did just create an idea that I'm not sure I can work past - if I were on a cruise ship or something and fell into the ocean, I would die, but the part that would bug me is the thought that nobody would ever know what happened to me. My loved ones not having closure is an uncomfortable thought. I'm not sure I'd call it a fear, but maybe... I'll have to figure out what to do about that. ProfessorKukui posted... Spiders in general are fine - I get why people are creeped out by them, and I respect wildlife enough that I would give anything dangerous as much space as I thought it needs in order for it to feel comfortable. (I mean, I'm not afraid of dying, but that doesn't mean I want to hurry death up or be mauled by a bear, poisoned by a spider, etc.) As far as the first part goes, I faced that idea when I faced my fear of death. Now, I understand the importance of death and everything it entails, including wiping the memory of us, as individuals, from existence. --- I believed my friends, years ago, when they told me "penis inspection day" was a real thing.
