i had sleep paralysis once but i didn't hallucinate anything aside from rorshach-looking blobs, like when you rub your eyes too hard. i also had lockjaw. the lockjaw part was scary as fuck

it wasn't painful at all, though my jaw muscles were extremely tired after. it was literally just my teeth clenched as hard as they could possibly clench, and only for like a minute. way scarier than that fake crone everyone says they see. thought i was gonna die

Had 2 episodes of sleep paralysis a couple months ago. Was pretty rough. Once I got what sounded like a demon whispering in my ear and the other time it felt like I saw this entity/apparition in my bathroom, not a ghost, probably something along the lines of a shadow person. Idk, it sucks when it happens. I'll always get an overwhelming sense of dread though.

& that's trippy like a sleep deprivation shadow person? I'm chill with sleep paralysis entities but i stayed awake too long by accident & shadow people freaked me out i was making such a wicked song that it made it even worse to see something like that, almost thought the music did it

Like not everyone's hallucinogen trips are exactly alike, sleep deprivation hallucinations not exactly alike, dreams & sleep paralysis hallucinations same boat

3/4 of those things contain entities in my case not dreams though I'm lucid so i usually just do whatever. But stay awake too long, wake up in rem or do Hendrix paper = entities

You can always try it out yourself the manual way instead of randomly waking up while you're still dreaming you can stay awake until you dream while conscious & see what you see. Same thing just different method.

You might be lucky & just see mildly impossible things.

If you see shadow people after staying awake it's way worse than a short visit during rem paralysis because you only escape them by sleeping but they'll try to keep you awake by f'ing with you so you're tired & want to sleep but too freaked out to.

But either way sleep paralysis entities & sleep deprivation entities are just manifestations of the inner you like a dream mirror.

It's been a few years. But the most shocking experience was when I was so sleep deprived that instead of shadow people I felt a purple/blue woman hug and linger on my body. It was dreadfully unpleasing, I didn't even know it was possible to see color during sleep paralysis.

& did she seem otherworldly or she resembled a human woman just a weird color? Just asking because once i was playing guitar & blueish purpleish sorta underworldish dudes held me down after saying a couple unsettling things smh
