I was walking home from the liquor store (this is a 'cool story bro' topic so feel free to back out because I'm gonna ramble...)

While I was on my way to the liquor store, I was thinking about how it would be neat if I found a toad or snake or some other critter like that. I was also worried about mosquitos. The weather was right for all of that.

Anyway, I thought it would be awesome if I found a toad or something. I made it to the liquor store without any mosquito shenanigans. It was hot inside :(. The employee was annoyed because my vodka didn't scan properly so he had to check the price manually. He actually looked it up this time. Sometimes he put in random numbers and I got a discount because he didn't care to do it the legit way >_>.

I stopped for some pokemon thing on the way and mosquitos show up and I got a f bew bites but killed a few in the process. When I was almost back, I encountered a toad on the sidewalk and I was like "oh shit I was thinking about this earlier" so I picked it up (also it seemed to want to jump into the road which was not a good idea).

I carried it back and it wanted to free itself and jump out of my hand but I was like "no u will hurt urself lol" and then it started making little chirping noises at me. I didn't want it to get run over by a car so I brought it back and put it down on my backyard. It seemed confused. I think it expected to get eaten and was all "what's going on? Why am I alive and free?" after I set it down.

Hopefully it will have a long, safe life in the back yard and eat bullshit like mosquitos because those motherfuckers...

Pro tip... when you're out walking and mosquitos are all over the place... take deep breaths and hold them when you can. Those shitfucks follow CO2. Stop breathing and you're less of a target. They get confused and can't track you as well. I tried my best but I had to stick around one spot because pokemon go. Still, I broke even on bites to kills. That says something. Take my advice.

Anyway, I miss the tree frogs that used to post up on my windows at night and just stick to the glass. Those guys were cool.

Yeah, I used to collect eggs as a kid and they made the smalllest frogs. I don't know that they were tree frogs but they were so tiny!

Like they fit on your pinky finger nail.

This one was chill. I knew it meant no harm and that's why I was kinda sad to scare it while I was carrying it around but I knew I was directing it to a better a safer home. Fuck that road. It was gambling its life on that. It wanted to escape and it was willing to hurt itself in the process. I was like "no chill the fuck out."
