I do agree that N64 specifically aged very poorly in general, but looking at the time it came out, it was very, very good. The early 3D era ages poorly in general, but I'd argue that N64 games aged better than PSOne games I probably agree to that. N64 had a few excellent games but not very many of them, a terrible controller, the visuals have aged poorly, and personally I never owned one at the time so I don't have any nostalgic memories of it. They didnt even bother to make new titles for it and third party developers wouldnt touch it. Their response was to make the exact same system as our next offering, and yet its somehow our fault for not wanting to pay hundreds of dollars for another system with gimmicky controls and a crappy library? The Wii and the Wii U are simply problematic to Nintendos game library. There was a handful of gems that were strategically made into Wii and Wii U exclusives, which they refuse to port to the Switch. Out of all the consoles listed, I've probably gotten the least value from my Switch so far, but that's partly because I misplaced the charge cable and I bought the console sooner than some of the others.
