It's an abuse of a lack of context. People get away with starting shit in the context of your thread, but all the mods see is if you call someone a troll, or in my case, a hypocrite, or sanctimonious, and WOW wtf dude how could you say that, "please do not insult users"

Saying "that is a passive aggressive thing to say" has also gotten me moderated.

that's the reason i left this site. the moderators here really think they're doing a bang-up job too, allowing people with dozens of accounts on vpn to troll and post toxic shit, and not giving good posters the ammunition to call them out for the fuck-stains they are.

Grow a thicker skin. I actually do think they're pretty stupid but those ARE the rules so either abide by them or leave. If you choose to whine about it, you will have it pointed out to you.

The rule is not consistently applied. For example:



Telling someone to "get help," which is an not even name calling, is technically flaming. And yet telling people to "shut the fuck up" or "fuck off' is apparently okay.
