It was always hectic but this is chaos. Feels worse than Mario Kart at its worst. And since there are very few wumpa crates you could spend the entire race at a huge disadvantage with zero wumpas. The timing for jumping off ramps is highly inconsistent. Smaller characters are almost impossible to win with due to how slow they are.

This frustrating, not fun.

No. Since it technically releases tomorrow, the servers aren't up. Have no idea why my PS4 allowed me to play since I remember the countdown showing a Friday release for me.

I don't know, it's been forever since I played the original. But I do remember having it as my second favorite kart racer at the time so I know it was fun as hell.

What difficulty are you playing on? I did the first world in Adventure and didn't have any issues. I also felt a bit rusty too.

Ah weird. Felt like old times for me. Jumping I had no issue with. Re-learning the slide boosts is something I need to get the timing back to a natural state.

Polar and Puma being sucky was an issue in the original game too. No real reason to use them if you know how to power slide and boost. It's a shame because Polar is the cutest.

It's going to be tough. CTR was designed for 4 actual players at most. Some characters were clearly better than others too.

It's tough to make changes while also be faithful to the original.

A second rate Mario kart ripoff is handling crappily? Who woulda thunk it. Well I'm sure their attempt at a Mario party ripoff will be better, and I'm almost positive that their super smash ripoff will be stellar.

Remaking a 20 year old kart game is kinda ridiculous. It would be like remaking Mario kart 64 (shudder) no thank you.
