It's been a long ass time since I've played REmake, but from what I remember I prefer 2

I mean clearly 2 has higher production values and arguably feels better to play, but I don't think it's as scary as the first game. It's no walk in the park but REmake is like true perfection. I also don't like some of the changes RE2make makes to the stuff from the original, though that's an unfair point for me to bring up since I didnt play the original pre-remake.
