Part of me wants to play KH1, 3 and BBS for the first time because I really liked GBA CoM...

I mean Kingdom Hearts itself is easy to follow. After that it goes off the rails. I too have bought "The Story So Far" recently and I'm currently playing though Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. I've played through the series multiple times though. For a first time player you're in for a treat with that collection. Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix is my favourite in the series for many reasons.

KH (final mix) is by far the best, I have finished it multiple times.
KH2 some people like but it was always meh to me. KH3 I'm halfway? through or so....finished rupunzel area and frozen area, toy story area, hercules area...think that was it (just opened monster town and...I think one other, but never actually entered them). Got distracted and havenot gone back to finish the game yet. --- We are 4 oreos from Heaven!!!! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Original game is still my favorite, but even the HD Final Mix is dated in a few ways. If you don't already know where you're going or what your objective is it's easy to get confused, with no map or reminders.
I'm appreciating KH2 more lately; it's got a good combat system, but you may not notice it behind the low difficulty and "press Triangle to win." It's also more or less where the story officially went off the wall. --- Official King of PotD You only need one T-Rex to make the point, though. ~ Samus Sedai ... Copied to Clipboard!
