I used to have a 2nd shift job and I miss it and think 2nd shift best shift. I currently work 3rd. HBU?

I've worked all three and 1st is easily the best.

3rd is terrible because your body (at least mine) never gets used to the sleep schedule.

2nd is bad because you're working when everyone else is at home or going out. Hard to have a social life.

I assume first is 9am-5pm? I choose that because ive dobe closing and graveyard before and they both sucked. I like to work in the morning till afternoon then go home and relax and play video games. Back when i was closing, i couldnt fit gaming in because i was too tired at midnight and i didnt want to get gaming in BEFORE work because it just felt weird.

2nd was good when it was my video editing job with a bunch of scruffy bros. Taking the train at midnight sucked though.

Usually. At my current job it's 2-10pm which isn't awful. It leaves enough time at the end of the day to hit up friends for a bit. I'm in school right now though so I should be limiting my socializing anyway.

I work rotating shifts, same responsibilities...non work related 1st shift wins. Home by 2p every day.

Actually at work...night shift wins hands down. No bosses less drama.

2nd shift sucks balls. Gets in the way of everything.

I work 3rd shift currently and I'm pretty happy with it.

Plenty of gaming time at work, so when I get off I can do basically whatever I want and not feel like I'm missing out or sacrificing other things to keep up with my favorite hobby.

I work 2nd and think it's the best. When you wake up you can eat regular food for breakfast. There isn't much traffic on the road going and coming to work. Only downside is most places are closed when you get off.

If you love 2nd shift...I mean cool, you do you. But I'm guessing that none of you has kids.

I did 3rd shift for 7 months and it sucked shit. Even up to the end, I never got used to sleeping during the day.

1st shift is the best. The only downside is waking up early.

Used to work from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Pretty cool hours.
