I've seen them work before, but theres no guarantees. You gotta go hard on promoting it.

At the very least it might ease the burden.

For something this expensive, it might be a good idea to expand your search even farther, assuming you get bad news.

I hope things work out for u and your dog. I wish dogs had the same medical legal protections as humans. Humans normally don't get denied ER services due to ability to pay or not pay.

There's another vet that I hear will do it for half the price but I also hear they are very sketchy, so I'm putting them on hold till I do some more research.

I'm looking into spreading the word on some popular facebook groups and such.

This dog is so nice, she's the type that is friendly to strangers and isn't an ankle biter like my other dog. She doesn't deserve this. :(

Does America not have any vet charities that can help? Im from the U.K. and here we have the PDSA which is a chain of vets that treat dogs super cheap or for free for low income families.

Ive shared it on all my social media but thats only too a few thousand people.

If you got a car that's paid for, you can also probably get a used car loan on it to pay for the surgery. I did that to get a down payment on my house without selling my car.

Aren't interest rates on car title loans very high? I don't know if that would be a good idea. In addition to a high vet bill you might lose your transportation.
