Tons of games. Luckily I was looking to get book of demons and someone mentioned it was on there. So is slay the spire, guacamolee 2, sunset overdrive and a bunch of other games that were on my wishlist and not on sale or not on very good sales on steam (I was gonna get book of demons at 50% off, now I got it, and a ton of other games (wizards of legend too), for $1!

So glad I caught that!!

Even though I own so many (hollow knight, oni and the blind forest, crosscode, steamworld dig 2, momorda revierie under the moon light etc), there are still at least 10 good games for me to play (moonlighter as well I wanted to get).

If you have not played/own all the above games, it's like the best deal ever, although you might run into a problem actually finishing them all in 3 months.

It's only $5 a month after that though:)

Neat. Thanks for the list. Friend and I briefly talked about these subscription services for games. Since neither of us cares about actually owning certain games and we almost never replay any games we've beaten, such subscription services is actually worthwhile for us to look into. I do hope more online co-op games are released. That's about the only thing I'll subscribe for.

Yeah, I don't normally pay for a monthy subscription to games, but this is too good to pass up. I did gamefly waaay back in the day, but I would probably ever pay the $5 a month for this after the 3 months is up. Don't think i'd pay 10$ though (which will be it's eventual price).

Yeah, I'm enjoying slay the spire the most of the games I've tried so far. Played 2 games with the first guy and 1 with the second. I am gonna try the third guy next.

Made my second guy into pure offense, with no defense cards at all, tons of draw cards and extra energy, it's a blast lol.

Yeah the third guy is insane!!! So good with the orbs, I love playing offensive anyway, and this lets me really rock it, specially if i get the 6 block if you have no block relic hehe.

Love the 5 orb slot card + the lightning orb hits everyone power...and also that orb damage doesn't count as an attack (so no thorns etc).

Third guy is so much better and everything else seems the same, so I don't really see why anyone would play the first guy, second was better for me (more offensive TONS of 0 cost cards and card draw, I think I could eventually get it to let me just like keep playing the first round for ever lolz), but yeah the 3rd guy is faster and so much fun.

Oh man, I just upgraded the capiliator to give me 3 more orb slots!! That is sooo awesome, I want more of those so I can get it out faster. Love that guy lolz.

It's supposed to be 3 though, I saw that when I signed up. Maybe I got the other months because they canceled my other game pass and added this one to it (the other was only console after they split it).

I think the ultimate game pass which I got adds on to xbox live or the old game pass.....so now I have almost 6 months total. Sweet.

Anyway, it might not be 3 months anymore...you could call and find out, I just signed up a few days ago though and it just started oh I have an idea, one second...

No info on if it's 3 months still but I did find out why I have it till after my birthday!!

So, I had signed up for the old gamepass, and once they broke it up (to console and PC), it put me in the console version which included xbox gold or whatever that is.

Well, the VERY NICE person I talked to on the phone to get me switched to the right version, kept telling me I wanted the ultimate version, not the pc version. I did not argue with her, even though I don't need the ultimate version.

Turns out if you get the ultimate version it adds on to the time you have already with xbox live or gold or whatever it's called. So I got 3 MORE months of it.....almost 6 months total...for $1.

I feel extremely lucky. It's like a super early birthday gift!!

I say there is no karma in life, but maybe there really is, it just affects you when you least expect it.

The $1 upgrade takes both your Gold Live and GamePass subs and adds them together up to 36 months total. I had just renewed my Gold when this offer came out so it was expiring 8-13-20, my GamePass was expiring 8-13-19, and after the $1 upgrade my Ultimate GamePass expires 10-30-20. It's been that way from day one of the offer.

Ah, that makes sense. Not having any form of Xbox, I have no other Microsoft subscriptions, so I'm not getting any of those bonus months. Still, $1 for a month and $5 thereafter is pretty fantastic, especially where there are a number of games on there I'm interested in. I'll probably go for this, even though I'll only be able to use it on my laptop (desktop's running Windows 7).

One other question: I'm looking at the library (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-game-pass-for-pc-beta/cfq7ttc0kgq8), and some of the games say "Free with gamepass" and others say "included with gamepass," with a + sign on the word free/included in some cases. Any idea what the difference is? I'm not seeing any fine print to attach to that + sign.

Not that I know, all the games I listed though are free, I just go directly to the gamepass pc site, which are all free.

Yeah, even for a month it's awesome, but hopefully when you sign up you'll get 3 months as well. I got 3 months added to what I already had, and it was just a few days ago.

I think after the upgrade to Ultimate it's just semantics. They all download free or can be permanently purchased at a discount. Before Ultimate there were different levels of "Free", lol. Now it looks like everything is treated the same, they just haven't changed the old tags for the different types of "free".

I just use it as a way to try something I'm not sure I'll like, and if I like it I go find the disc version some place cheap. That way when they drop it from the library I can still play.

It really rocks for me because those subs were paid for using Microsoft Rewards Points Lamo, so not one penny came out of my pocket. Plus I was gonna drop GamePass when it came up to re-sub, so now I have it for 16 months free ;p
