They are too big and dirty to put in my backpack, so I've been stashing them in the bushes near my office to pick up on the way out. They are different hubcaps btw what's up with all these lost hubcaps

When I was a little kid there was this old man named jerry that always walked around the neighborhood smoking stogies, who one day asked me if I liked hubcaps. I said yes to be polite and from then on this guy would collect hubcaps on his walks and throw them over my back fence, like 3-4 a day every day. I can't believe my parents blamed me for it.

Growing up on a pretty busy street, my neighbor would collect them when he found them, put a nail in his fence and hang them up near the road facing the street, so when the people who drove by realized later that day that they lost a hubcap, they would see it hanging on the fence and be able to recover it and put it back on their vehicle.

He was just a good bro like that.

I'm just glad those spinners are gone.

I mean, I get it. I really do. They're flashy and honestly they're even kinda cool.

But I hated them when driving because they made stopped cars look like they were still in motion, and since they would be moving out into the intersection, more than once I kneejerked a hard brake as a result. Fortunately, I never got rear-ended.
