Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the consideration, but I know they did fun stuff like rafting and rock climbing before. I can't help but be aware I'm restricting the now ~25 other interns from those kinds of activities.

I didnt go to the last event cause I wanted to get work done, and an intern committee guy came and talked to me about it lol. I understand they kinda have their hands tied with having to adhere to accessibility, but I wish I wasn't inconveniencing so many people

Companies try to be all about diversity and inclusion but rarely take the time to see how the people they feel may be "excluded" actually feel.

Did you try to tell them that?

Hey it's cool you guys do stuff I can do but keep going rock climbing and stuff, I seriously don't mind.

I did yea, and was basically told "We budget for everyone, so we want to take everyone into consideration when planning events".

I get that lol like they'd probably look bad if everyone was rock climbing while the wheelchair intern stays at work. I feel like theres not really a great solution to this and what they're doing is probably the best
