Poll of the Day > Found a young injured bird in my yard. Don't think it's going to make it :(

Mad_Max 07/02/19 5:06:36 PM #1:	There's two of them, but one is mobile (hopping about and chirping). Pretty sure that one is okay. The other... not so much. It's very listless. Covered in flies but still breathing and moving a bit, giving out the odd cry here and there. Called wildlife rescue and they advised, based off the description of its condition, to let nature run its course :( Part of me wants to put it out of its misery, but the other part of me thinks maybe it'll make some miraculous recovery. RedPixel 07/02/19 10:08:29 PM #4:	I was in a situation like that a couple of years ago and ended up giving the poor guy a mercy killing... his eyes were swollen shut and getting eaten alive, yet he was still breathing.
