Damn, I confused Salem's Lot with Pet Semetary, lol.
Never saw the movie for Salem's Lot but the book was in the bottom 3 Stephen King books for me so I cant imagine I would like the movie much. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

The book seems popular but I really didnt like it. Wasnt scary at all and was predictable and kinda silly imo.
I'm reading The TommyKnockers right now and it's pretty good so far. If you are looking for a good newer book from King try The Outsider. It's being adapted by HBO into a miniseries. It's fantastic. Typical Stephen King the ending is kind of a flop but the first half/two third of the book is some of his best imo. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

The 5th one wasnt terrible but the payoff was underwhelming and the 6th and 7th books were awful beginning to end to me.
The 4th book is one of King's best overall. It's up there with It, The Stand, The Shining. Waiting a decade between writing the 4th and the 5th book was a mistake. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
