mrduckbear 07/05/19 9:27:24 PM #1:	Are you one of the triggered people after hearing the news? - Results (4 votes) Yes 50% (2 votes) 2 No 50% (2 votes) 2 A "Make America White Again" group was REMOVED from Facebook after sharing offensive memes related to the news of Disney casting Halle Bailey, a 19 y/o Black Actress to play the FICTIONAL mermaid The group was created on July 3rd after news of the casting of Grownish star went viral and it included a photo of "Ariel Winter" It only had 200+ members when it got the boot It read "Are you tired of people washing out the great traditions of white princesses of colour? Do you feel that they should keep everything the way it is? Then join us! We are here to make Ariel White Again!" It had posts depicting racist images of a black mermaid wearing a piece of chicken and eating a slice of watermelon They shared GoFundMe pages that were shared to the group all of have been deleted Many also claimed the group was satirical and shouldn't have been removed and now carbon copies have sprung up claiming ot be the second coming of age as members of those groups say "Why do liberals want to change everything white? It's not our fault if people want white characters. Make America White Again". The decision has left mixed reaction with hollywood and people of colour praising the decision while others have been triggered by the news and believe it should stick to the original red haired character.
