I'm nearing 30, and I can't say I know anyone personally who successfully stayed married or together after having a kid.
All my old friends from high school are single parents, and most of the girls I meet are single moms. Makes me not want to bother. --- Derp ... Copied to Clipboard!

Nor do I. I see a lot of complicated situations with at least one divorce, with kids across a couple families, and outwardly friendly but actually distrustful relationships between exes.

Two of my best friends, both 35, have been married since their mid 20s. One has 3 girls and the other 2 boys.
One is a successful banker and the other a successful engineer. I've known both since elementary school. I've never been married or had kids. I have limited but not zero interest in having them, which is a deal breaker to lots of women. My other two closest friends. One has been married a decade, but that couple does not want kids (both mid 30s). The other got divorced like 2 years ago and has two kids. --- You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. Then the next day, pierced brains. -Jane Lane ... Copied to Clipboard!
