I don't know who Saitama is but Goku is basically on par with a god now. Assuming he fucked up enough he'll go into UI and beat anything less than a creator god, and yes that includes Supes.

Either Goku or Superman by themselves might be strong enough, considering that we've only ever seen Saitama fight jobbers. His feats of strength are all relatively minor given that he's from a weaker universe. Goku and Superman are from realities where they fight guys capable of destroying planets.

One Punch Man already proved that he could need to use more then one punch against someone strong enough, so his power is not unlimited.

While they have done (I think it was) a goku vs Saitama fight (or was it super man I forget), they kinda cheated. I think either would actually give him a good fight.

IF you combine their powers? We don't really know if there is a limit to Saitama's strength, he could just not have actually needed to even try before, and has far more potential then we have seen, but yes, they should be able to at least give him a serious fight.

If I'm remembering right, when asked in an interview how strong Saitama really is, the answer was something like, half the big bang. Or maybe that's how strong his strongest punch is supposed to be, it's been a while and I only saw it once. Creator could've just been trolling too lol.

Lol that was better then the original fight:)

I mean at the end of season 1, they kinda shower him actually having to use multiple punches etc, so there seemed to be a limit to his power. In season 2 though, he goes back to just basically sleeping through everything.

Keep in mind that Superman-Prime literally punched a hole in reality. And Superman's previous feats include dragging long chains of planets through space.

Bugs easily. He can't be killed, the entire joke with looney toons is the lack of real world psychics. Nothing goku could do could beat him, yet bugs would just grab a giant paint brush, write "anti goku mcguffin" and instantly win. Because hes a gag character.

Saitama is the same. His whole character is that hes stronger than everyone else and doesn't give a shit.

See while some characters can't be killed (say bugs, or possibly Saitama, they can be moved, captured etc. Bugs was easily controlled by many characters without super human abilities etc, and you don't need to kill your enemy to defeat them.

Superman for instance, has limits, some fairly significant ones, including a direct source of power that can be destroyed.

Goku also has limits, that he kept exceeding, increasing etc, but he had them and repeatedly reached them.

Saitama.....in theory might have them...based on the last episodes of season 1, but even then, he just used a bit harder attack, it wasn't him going all out. So we don't really know if he has limits since they have not been even hinted at or tested yet.

We can though conclude that even a mix of goku/superman would still have some limitations (although at least it would probably remove supermans complete reliance on the sun for power).

Superman vs OPM should be an easy victory for OPM pretty much, even if that requires him to knock superman out of the solar system or destroy the sun.

Goku vs OPM could be a bit more challenging since he doesn't have as many weaknesses (krypto/reliance on sun etc), but the way the comic has gone, I think OPM would easily win again.

Vs a fused superman/goku? Well, it really depends on what the fusion does for them, and also if the writers are going to just keep having OPM overpower everything. It's always up to the writers basically and so far, they have just had him be so overpowered that nothing even comes close to challenging him.

From that perspective, both goku and supes were challenged regularly throughout all of their comics. It makes it more likely that even if OPM was challenged, he would still actually win, just because nothing has even come close to challenging him yet. For Supe/goku fusion guy.....they have lost battles before, and been seriously challenged many times, so even if you up their power with fusion, they still have not only encountered the possibility of defeat, but both have actually been defeated before.

OPM has not even really broken a sweat.
